“Ian leads with integrity, discipline and a constant focus on improvement,” Menas said in the announcement. “His mentorship of our internal team, leadership with independent representatives and commitment to operational excellence have been instrumental to our success.”
King has also led sustainability assessment reporting and implemented remote access systems to support customers and sales teams. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
The new executive vice president
Menas, of Tecumseh, has more than 40 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry, including 23 years with MTS Seating. He will continue to lead the company’s sales and marketing strategy.
“John’s leadership has shaped who we are as a company,” James Pearce, president of MTS Seating, said in the announcement. “His ability to align strategy with execution and build enduring customer relationships continues to position MTS for sustainable success.”
