HONOR announced the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, a new corporate strategy marking its transformation into a global leading company in AI device ecosystems. The visionary plan outlines the stages HONOR will adopt to usher in the new intelligent world, calling on the industry to jointly create an open and shared value ecosystem, to maximize the possibilities allowed by the AI-human relationship.

The designation HONOR ALPHA PLAN has been chosen for its symbolism. “Alpha”, as the first letter of the Greek alphabet, represents HONOR’s constant pursuit of technological excellence. In addition, the Chinese word for “humans” (u4eba) is found at the connection point of the lowercase letter “u03b1”, reflecting HONOR’s commitment to human-centered innovation. This symbolism of the meeting between East and West perfectly encapsulates HONOR’s global vision and its ambition to create value for consumers worldwide.

The HONOR ALPHA PLAN consists of three steps: The first begins with the development of a truly smart phone, to achieve this, HONOR works together with collaborators, pushing the bounds of technology and revolutionizing devices in the era of agent-based AI.
In a second step, HONOR seeks to push the boundaries of the industry in terms of the ecosystems where AI operates, thus creating a new paradigm in what it calls the “physical AI era”. Finally, in the AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) era, HONOR will break down the barriers of human potential and together create a new way to take advantage of these technologies.
Leading AI Technology for the Era of AI-Based Agents: AI Agent.
The first personal AI mobile agent based on a Graphic User Interface (GUI) redefines daily convenience with intelligent technology.
In a technology demonstration in collaboration with Google Cloud and Qualcomm, HONOR showcased how an AI agent can make a restaurant reservation through a third-party service, considering saved calendar appointments and real-time traffic. HONOR plans to bring these experiences to their devices in international markets in the near future.

Additionally, the brand is revolutionizing mobile photography with AiMAGE, the new brand for its imaging technology. AiMAGE works with AI Kernel, the industry’s first solution compatible with cloud-based AI models. This solution supports 1.3 billion parameters to generate a 50% increase in image clarity. The cloud counterpart benefits from a larger scale of computing resources, running a model of 12.4 billion parameters to massively improve image quality.
Through collaborations with partners like Google Cloud, HONOR will continue to expand the versatility of its photographic capabilities by integrating more intuitive AI features into its smartphones. The new AI Photo Scaling feature, designed to restore old portraits, will gradually arrive on the HONOR Magic7 series, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform.
Additionally, HONOR presented the first file transfer technology across the entire ecosystem, allowing users to enjoy ultra-fast speeds when sharing data with one or multiple iOS and Android devices. The brand announced that AI detection against deepfakes will soon arrive on their new flagship smartphones and foldable devices in global markets.

To achieve the second step of its strategic plan, HONOR calls on the industry to expand its AI capabilities for a wider range of devices, enabling seamless collaboration. As proof of its commitment, HONOR announced today that it will invest over 10 billion in the next 5 years to fund this effort.

That’s why it’s important for all of us to work together to maximize this potential and embrace a smart world,” said Li, inviting everyone to join HONOR in accomplishing the third and final step of their plan.
Representatives from Google, Qualcomm, CKH Group, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone joined Li on stage to carry out the tree lighting ceremony. Illuminating a tree of light symbolizes the collaboration of industry partners to jointly develop the AI device ecosystem that will serve all consumers worldwide.

To demonstrate the consumer-focused approach of the ALPHA PLAN, HONOR has committed to providing seven years of Android OS and security updates for the HONOR Magic Series, starting with the HONOR Magic7 Pro, initially in the European Union market.
In addition, HONOR pledged to accelerate its sustainability initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality in its operations by 2040, five years ahead of its initial goal. Similarly, the brand announced its plan to achieve carbon neutrality across its entire supply chain and in its products by 2050.

At MWC Barcelona 2025, HONOR unveiled several innovative products to offer more options to consumers in international markets. With a beautiful vine leaf-shaped curved design and a light body, the AI PC HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 combines exceptional performance and record-breaking battery life.
For its part, HONOR Pad V9 provides an AI-enhanced learning and office experience, with its ultra-thin body, HONOR Eye Comfort 2.8K screen, and one of the best batteries in the industry.
