CAMCO of Nevada Promotes Mary Rendina to VP of Business Development
Long-time CAMCO head of marketing to oversee future growth of one of the most reputable HOA management companies in the state
CAMCO of Nevada, one of the state’s largest and most respected HOA management companies, promoted Mary Rendina to Vice President of Business Development. In her new role, the accomplished executive will continue to market the company, handle vendor relations, and write proposals for new business while facilitating every aspect of the sales and onboarding process for new HOA clients.
“Mary Rendina has done a tremendous job as the director of marketing for CAMCO and is very deserving of this promotion,” CAMCO President, David Swenson said. “She is absolutely the right person to be the face of CAMCO to prospective clients going forward.”
Rendina joined CAMCO in April 2018. As marketing director, she oversaw a complete rebranding and was instrumental in moving production of marketing materials in house. She also expanded community outreach, implemented an online educational library for HOA boards and spearheaded CAMCO’s annual vendor trade show.
“Mary Rendina has been a pillar in the Nevada HOA management community,” CAMCO CEO, Joel Just added. “Her professionalism and dedication to the growth of community associations is well known. She is the perfect person to represent CAMCO to new clients, and her experience is also a welcomed addition to our executive team.”
Prior to joining CAMCO, Rendina served as Executive Director of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Nevada Chapter for 10 years. In that time, she helped nearly double membership (604 to 1,100-plus), was awarded the Rising Star Award in 2010 and the Chapter Executive Director of the Year honor in 2015. In 2022, she earned the Women in Business Award from the Urban Chamber of Commerce. Before CAI, Rendina worked for Focus Property Group, Centex Homes and Mirage Resorts.
“I appreciate the confidence and trust the CAMCO leadership team has always placed in me, and it is a great honor to serve the company in this new role,” she said. “I look forward to helping CAMCO continue to thrive as a business and respected leader in our industry.”
Rendina and her family have called Southern Nevada home for more than 30 years. She is a past board member of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NVCCF) and, along with fellow NVCCF board members, helped found “Camp Cartwheel,” a summer retreat for children battling cancer. She also created a movement in honor of the Oct. 1 Route 91 Harvest Music Festival shooting victims called#58RandomActsofKindness – which now has more than 5,400 participants – and serves as a volunteer photographer for several Las Vegas-based nonprofits.
