BDR Associates launches Investor Relations business line in response to maturing capital market
BDR Associates, a strategic communications agency with over 30 years of experience in Romania and across the region, announces the launch of a new business line dedicated to Investor Relations (IR) services. The new division is designed for listed companies, those in the process of going public, investment funds, and private companies seeking to strengthen their relationship with investors and the capital market.
This initiative complements the integrated portfolio of services offered by BDR Associates, leveraging the agency’s extensive expertise in financial and corporate communications, as well as its strong international partnerships — including affiliation with one of the world’s leading financial communications and consultancy firms, headquartered in London.
The new Investor Relations service line provides comprehensive solutions — from developing and implementing investor communication strategies, market positioning, and crafting financial messaging, to managing communication in M&A contexts, IPOs, relations with analysts and shareholders, and reputation management in public and media spaces.

“The launch of this new business line represents a natural step in BDR Associates’ evolution. For over three decades, we have built our reputation by delivering strategic solutions across key sectors, and expanding into Investor Relations reflects both the current market dynamics and our ability to provide top-level consultancy,” said Cătălina Rousseau, CEO & President, BDR Associates.
The new Investor Relations Division will be led by Corneliu Manole, Partner at the agency, with over 15 years of experience in capital markets and public affairs.

“Romania’s capital market is undergoing accelerated growth, with over 370 listed companies and a growing number of active investors. These developments come in a strategically favourable context — the Bucharest Stock Exchange is being assessed for inclusion among emerging markets by MSCI, while Romania is advancing through the OECD accession process. These are important milestones for attracting international capital and strengthening investor confidence,” said Corneliu Manole.
To ensure full compliance and legal rigor, the legal & compliance component will be managed in partnership with a prestigious law firm specialized in capital markets and corporate law.
