Shogun Audio – Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager role will have responsibility for planning and executing marketing campaigns across our brands including music, events, merch and more.

The Role

  • In conjunction with the wider team, the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns across all brands. Including but not limited to: Release schedule planning, Campaign artwork & creative, Social media strategy, Content strategy, Press & PR, Event Marketing Strategy, Merch Marketing, Paid Adverts, Playlist Marketing.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of all marketing campaigns in full, on time and in budget across label, artist and 3rd party channels.
  • In conjunction with the wider team responsible for release schedule planning.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Music responsible for campaign / product artwork, design and creative.
  • Responsible for creation and management of campaign budgets.
  • Responsible for creation and upkeep of the ‘campaign sheet’ and communication to all key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for reporting & measurement of all campaign activity.
  • Responsible for planning & execution of all paid advertising
  • Responsible for strategy and marketing of company DSP playlists
  • Responsible for copywriting for all product / release / project copy.
  • Support at label events where required, note this may be outside of ‘normal office hours’
  • Other duties assigned by the Head Of Operations or Managing Director

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing or Business Studies or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 4+ Years experience working within a record label, publisher or events company required.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Shogun Audio brands, drum & bass the electronic music industry.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate closely with internal and external teams.
  • A D&B fanatic with a passion for music and visual art
  • Adobe and WordPress/Shopify skills are preferential but not essential.
  • Ability to respond positively to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with many different departments/personalities.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Other Requirements

  • Available to travel when required
  • Able to work in the Brighton office at least 2 days a week
  • Able to work remotely when required
