RBD is growing its marketing business development team
Rail Business Daily (RBD) is hiring, growing its marketing and media business development team to support its increasing number of clients.
The news comes fresh from the announcement that the team will be moving to a brand-new office in central Leeds, which is being officially opened on June 5.
It comes as the organisation looks to play an even more important role in sharing organisations’ stories, enhancing profiles and helping them to win work in the rail sector.
Dean Bruce, Managing Director, said: “It’s an exciting time for RBD, in addition to moving to our new permanent offices in central Leeds we are also looking for a talented business development professional to join the team.
“This is a fantastic opportunity, in an exciting industry, to join our growing business. We are looking for candidates who have some media or marketing experience and who are looking to take the next step in their career.
“We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and being a force for good in promoting the rail industry, so the ability to effectively manage accounts and exceed client expectations is a must.”
The move comes as RBD is finding that organisations which feature in its popular newsletter and publications are requesting support in developing their brand, producing marketing materials and driving more interest to their website and social media output.
“This is something we have a track record in achieving,” added Dean. “Organisations are also approaching us for advice upon how to best accomplish their marketing objectives, which is why we are further developing RBD to meet this need. More news will be coming soon about our rail marketing services.”
RBD produces a popular daily newsletter at 7am every day, containing the latest rail industry news stories, it is also the publisher of the high-end rail sector magazine Rail Director and is the home of Ultimate Rail Calendar and the Rail Supplier Directory. RBD helps organisations working in the rail industry to tell their story and to raise their profile to a qualified audience of other rail professionals and helps businesses to do more work in rail.
Anyone interested in applying for role is invited to contact [email protected] to find out more about the role or to submit their CV.
Dean added: “Experience in the rail industry is not essential initially, but we can’t promise that you won’t be fascinated by the sector, its people and the organisations once you get involved.”
