Coro Realty Appoints Ansley Nixon EVP, Capital Markets and Garret Brouwer VP, Acquisitions and General Counsel

Coro Realty, a real estate investment and management firm, has appointed two experienced professionals to its leadership team as it accelerates strategic growth across the Southeastern United States. Ansley Nixon has been named Executive Vice President, Capital Markets, and Garret J. Brouwer has joined as Vice President, Acquisitions and General Counsel.

Nixon brings nearly 20 years of experience across institutional capital markets, acquisitions, and portfolio strategy. She has closed more than $8 billion in real estate transactions spanning office, multifamily, retail, and mixed-use assets. Most recently, she led acquisitions and strategic transactions across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic at Jamestown, L.P. Her background also includes roles at CBRE, Eastdil Secured, Trimont Real Estate Advisors, and JPMorgan Chase.

“Ansley’s experience in capital markets and real estate investment is a strong addition to our leadership team,” said Robert Fransen, Managing Partner of Coro Realty. “Her track record of executing complex transactions and creating value across asset classes will support our strategic expansion.”

A graduate of the University of Georgia and Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, Nixon earned her MBA with concentrations in Finance and Strategy and is a recipient of the prestigious Woodruff Fellowship. She is an active member of NAIOP Georgia’s Board of Directors, a graduate of the ULI Center for Leadership, and a member of ICSC.

“Coro has built a reputation for disciplined investing and long-term value creation,” said Nixon. “I’m excited to join the team and help shape the next phase of growth by deepening capital relationships and identifying compelling investment opportunities across the Southeast.”

Brouwer joins Coro Realty with more than 15 years of legal and transactional experience advising institutional investors, public REITs, and development firms. In his new role, he will lead acquisition efforts and oversee all legal functions related to operations, corporate governance, and strategic initiatives.

“Garret has a rare combination of legal acumen, transactional experience, and strategic vision,” said Fransen. “His addition enhances our ability to move with speed and precision as we pursue new opportunities in dynamic, evolving markets.”

Before joining Coro Realty, Brouwer served as Deputy General Counsel at Post Brothers, where he co-led legal efforts for over $1 billion in financing, construction, and acquisition deals. He previously held a key legal role at CubeSmart (NYSE: CUBE), managing acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing across the company’s national portfolio. He began his career advising municipalities and private developers on land use, entitlements, and development approvals.

“Coro Realty has a reputation for thoughtful investments and creative problem solving,” said Brouwer. “I’m excited to join a team that’s not only growing, but doing so with discipline and purpose.”
